ILD Management Team
Michael F. LewisAs Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since the Company's inception in 1996, Mike Lewis founded and now oversees all corporate and board functions across ILD and is responsible for the overall vision and direction of the Company. Mike has grown ILD from an operator services company to a $100 million dollar business process outsourcing and conferencing leader.
Deeply committed to seeking new ways to drive efficiencies in the telecom sector, Mike led the company into the business process outsourcing market to capitalize on the synergies available by combining exceptional billing, conferencing and call center services, with effective business practices, and outstanding customer delivery.
From its Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida corporate headquarters, Mike leads an expansive team of more than 300 dedicated employees at offices across the United States. As an accomplished entrepreneur with 25 years of executive experience within the telecommunications and financial arenas, Mike has a proven business leadership track record.
Prior to founding ILD, Mike served as President of Triad Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm. During this period, he was involved in numerous private equity financing's, ranging from early stage investments to management-led leveraged buyouts within the telecommunications industry.
Mike also founded, presided over, and later sold two successful long distance companies with combined annual revenues in excess of $75 million dollars; TransTel Communications, Inc. and Com-Link 21. After the sale of Com-Link 21, Mike held a Board of Directors seat with LDDS (formerly MCI) for nearly half a decade.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business School and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University. Mike is involved in the Wharton Entrepreneurial Program and serves the Wharton Venture Award Selection Committee. Additionally, he sits on the Board of Directors at Episcopal High School in Jacksonville, and has served in various capacities on the Boards of the Jacksonville Country Day School and the Jacksonville Zoo. Mike supports The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, a national charity to help the fight against childhood leukemia. His time away from work is primarily spent with his family, as a devoted husband and father of five children.
Dennis J. Stoutenburgh
As President & COO since 1997, and a founding member of ILD, Dennis Stoutenburgh is responsible for the overall profit and loss, operations, and customer satisfaction of ILD’s Business Process Outsourcing divisions. Dennis’ 20 years of management experience in the telecommunications and financial arenas has benefited ILD by providing outstanding leadership during the nineteen acquisitions of recent years, as well as in the ongoing operations of the Company.
Prior to joining ILD, Dennis was responsible for the development and launch of the billing, operator services, prepaid and validation organizations as President of the Communications Group of Intellicall, growing the divisions to more than $80 million dollars in annual revenues. He later managed the divestiture of certain assets of those divisions to Transaction Network Services (TNS) and ILD.
Dennis began his career with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) as a CPA first with the Audit team and then transitioned to Corporate Finance Consulting.
Dennis holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree, concentration in Accounting, from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and has also attended the Harvard Business Management Program on Negotiation. He is a dedicated father to four children, and actively involved with the Parent Athletic Committee and Parents Association at Christ the King School as well as a baseball, basketball and soccer coach for his children’s school and community teams.
H. Edward Brooks Jr.
As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2000, and a Director of the Company since its inception in 1996, H. Edward Brooks, Jr. is responsible for all finance activities, including accounting, treasury, tax, and corporate finance. Eddie's more than 30 years of financial planning and management expertise provided for ILD's successful negotiation through the turbulent times of industry downturn; allowing ILD to emerge financially strong.
Prior to joining ILD, Eddie served as CFO of Morris Newspaper (now Morris Multimedia) for 18 years of his 20 year tenure. In his position as CFO, Eddie efficiently managed over 80 publications, 4 television stations including CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates, and structured and negotiated more than 60 acquisitions. Subsequent to joining Morris Newspaper, Eddie excelled in the Audit division of Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Eddie holds a master's degree in Accounting from Georgia State University in Atlanta and a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he notably attended on an academic scholarship. He has been happily married to his wife of 32 years and is a committed and adoring father to his two adult children.
Frederick W. Lloyd
As Senior Vice President and a founding member of ILD in 1996, Frederick W. Lloyd is responsible for the strategic planning and corporate development of ILD, and is the divisional head of ILD's ROLLCALL Business Conferencing division. A 25-year veteran of the financial services industry, Fred's experience encompasses the areas of mergers and acquisitions, public and private debt and equity financing and senior level operational management.
Among Fred's many achievements at ILD are the oversight of nineteen acquisitions of various telecommunications companies and the successful management of subsequent integration efforts. In addition to various strategic initiatives, Fred maintains operational responsibility over ILD's RollCall Conferencing division.
Prior to joining ILD, Fred served as a principal of Triad Capital Partners. During his career, he has successfully negotiated, financed and completed more than 50 acquisitions in diverse industries with an aggregate transaction value in excess of $100 million dollars.
Fred holds a master's degree in Finance from Florida State University, in Tallahassee, Florida and a bachelor's degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. His time away from work revolves primarily around his family, which include his wife and three children.
C. Read Morton
As Executive Vice President and Corporate Counsel of the Company since 1998, Mr. Morton oversees all aspects of the COmpany's legal affairs. Prior to joining ILD, he practiced law for 35 years, most recently with the law firm of Burr & Forman, LLP, where he had significant experience in real estate and middle market private company transactions.
Read currently serves on the board of directors of several privately held corporations and is the immediate past Chairman of the University of Georgia Foundation, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Georgia Real Estate Foundation. He also holds leadership positions in several civic and charitable institutions. |
