Alternative Payment

Alternate Payment Services ("APS") is a risk-free program that reduces bad debt for businesses, while maximizing revenue growth. APS is designed for any company that currently bills a Category 4250 service (i.e. voicemail, web hosting, and other non-call related products) or zero plus service via the phone bill (LEC bill).

ILD’s program consists of a number of components designed to 1) reduce your risks of collections and 2) provide alternate payment and billing options . First, ILD validates telephone numbers in real-time or batch mode to determine whether services can be billed via Local Exchange Carrier (“LEC”). It then provides alternative methods of payment, including direct billing or advance payment options for telephone numbers identified as ‘unbillable’.

Reducing unbillables is key to maximizing a company’s profit. Analyzing call records against ILD’s validation service greatly reduces unnecessary solicitation calls, as well as unbillables, which ultimately represents a significant savings for companies.
